So I arrive in the USA on 12 October 2015, "sun shining, weather is fine" touch down in New York City and WOW does it blow my mind! Music is in every subway and everywhere you turn, obviously this is my kinda vibe. These street muso's are sooooo damn good, but can I realistically give each one of them some cash???. That's one of the hardest things for me right now coz I really wanna?. This phenomenal appreciation of sound and difference all over just overwhelms me. I could stay here, play here and learn here that's for sure. What's weird about this city is that I've seen so much of it on TV that I automatically recognize all these cool buildings and places, so yeah I'm somewhat surprised but not exactly taken a back by it all! I'm so grateful to be I these surrounds and to be afforded the opportunity to sing in the city! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Songwriters with other music talents find problems in that they never really get anything else done except continuously write and perfect their songs. Where is production and when does that actually happen??? Where is the time for polishing up new skills?? Shocking if you ask me and so you know what I suffer from but that's not all..... By the time the song has to be produced or sung, the world is all to different. Back to writing for me:)
